Introduction
Godan Waterfall will come into view as you walk along the mountain stream from Fudo Waterfall, towards Oku-Yugawara and in the opposite direction of the current. It is called Godan (“Five Steps”) Waterfall because of the 100-meter-high waterfall’s resemblance to a five-step staircase.
The vicinity is filled with clouds of white steam vapor, giving it an onsen-like atmosphere.
