Introduction
The MOA Museum of Art is well-known in Atami City, Shizuoka, the east gateway to Izu, . The main lobby of the museum commands a fine view of Hatsushima and Izu-Oshima islands in the sea, and the 180-degree panoramic view of the great Boso, Miura and Izu peninsulas soothes the souls of people who look upon it. After leisurely appreciating the works of art, make sure to visit the museum’s garden, where you can view seasonal flowers and trees in the garden, such as ume (Japanese plum) and cherry blossoms in spring, autumn foliage and other natural scenery.
