Moon-Viewing Party on a Full Moon Night
This event brimming with Japanese aesthetic is called “Jugoya” (“night of the full moon”). Experience a taste of Yugawara Onsen beneath the enchanting glow of the full moon, at a variety of venues!
At the square in front of the Genkan Terrace:
A bonfire and koto performance will be held. There will also be booths selling drinks and food, such as dumplings, as well as a section for souvenirs.
At Rifuku Shrine:
The shrine will be illuminated and decorated with Jugoya ornaments. This shrine boasts a reputation for answering prayers for fulfillment in love. Why not try writing your wishes on a votive picture tablet and dedicating it at the shrine?

Access | 【By bus】 Take the bus for Oku-Yugawara/Fudodaki from Yugawara Station, and get off at Ochiai-bashi Bus Stop (about a 10-minute ride). ・The buses for Oku-Yugawara/Fudodaki from Yugawara Station, and for Yugawara Station from Ochiai-bashi, generally depart every 15 minutes but less frequently starting from 6:00 p.m. Please check the Hakone-Tozan Bus website for details. |
