Noryo Ennichi (Summer Evening Fair)
This summer festival, resplendent with the atmosphere of a good old fair, is an extremely popular, “down-home” event which has lasted for nearly 40 years.
Children love fairs, of course, but we’d like grownups, too, to revisit their childhood memories of night stalls packed closely together.
Oni-nakase (ogre-crying game), SuperBall scooping, yo-yo fishing, and other games can be played if you have “oasobiken” (playing tickets).
There are also many events that change on a daily basis, such as street performances and joint drum performances by local children’s societies. For children too young to enjoy these attractions, an infants’ section is available, too.
