Noryo Ennichi (Summer Evening Fair)
This summer festival, in which you can enjoy the atmosphere of a good old fair, is an extremely popular, “down-home” event which has lasted for no less than nearly 40 years.
Children love fairs, of course, but we’d like grownups, too, to revisit their childhood memories of night stalls packed closely together.
Oni nakase (ogre crying game), SuperBall scooping, yo yo fishing and other games can be enjoyed if you get “oasobiken” (playing tickets).
There are also a great many events that change on a daily basis, such as street performances and joint drum performances by local children’s societies. For little kids too young to enjoy these attractions, an Infants’ Section is available, too.
